Great length, thick pile, but the pile layer is not completely secured to the non skid bottom. It seems to vacuum okay as long as someone stands on the opposite end. It has washed okay the 3 times I’ve done it, but be prepared for the ton of lint in the lint screen. I would check it a couple of times before it’s done drying. I put mine on air dry only. I hope it holds up for the long run. I use this in front of my doggy door and I have no more wet or muddy paw prints all over my wood and tile floors.... so it does absorb and attract dirt well.The individual strands of shag feel pretty loosely in there, pretty sure if you have kids or pets you'll wind up with rug shedding all over your house. Also while it says it's washable, I don't think with strands that loose that it would hold up to more than a couple washes, so if you expected to be able to wash it often as with bathmats and doormats made of the same material, I'd probably get a different product (like one of those bathmats or doormats, which come in the same size, but have solidly placed strands).The color was a slightly oranger red than pictured, but not too far off (always possible the difference is from computer monitor variations, but it looked the same on my smartphone and my desktop).The other review is about a towel. For clarity, there's definitely nothing towel-like about this product. It's got a grey felt-like backing with little anti slip dots so it's pretty unmistakably a rug and it's fairly thick, so I don't think it would even be possible to use as a towel.OK, not really the color I wanted !!!Great size and color is true to picture. It says not machine washable, but I took a gamble (as my puppy decided to piddle on it) and it came out of the washer just fine.These are nice throw rugs. The orange color goes well with my yellow kitchen floor.They look good and wash well but have to be washed with care as the backing is somewhat separate from the top and it is a little linty.Once they are washed and Air Dried on a line, they are back to looking new again.My cat even loves this rug and sleeps on it whenever he can.Fabulous color, very thick, plush and expensive looking. I bought it for our enclosed sun room to keep dirt from tracking inside my house and it works beautifully. Very heavy though and would probably have to be washed at a laundry mat. I can only iagine how heavy it would be when wet) This is a statement rug and looks wonderful with my turquoise and ocean theme on my enclosed porch.I am very happy with my purchase!!! It absorbs water really well and looks amazing in my bathroom!I got this yellow shag rug as a baby shower gift for my aunt. The color matched perfectly as seen in picture, even prettier in person. I wanted to find a soft rug my aunt could lay the baby when playing on the floor and this rug was perfect!! She loved the rug so much she laid it out in the baby's room as soon as she got home from the baby shower!
