In real life, it's more just basic blue than navy blue so it's not the appealing to me. It's still very functional though. It's absorbent.I got the “Popcorn Bathmat (20x32 inches).”This is a nice bath mat. It’s really soft against your feet. It seems to be absorbent. It looks nice. It has a kind of rubber backing so it doesn’t slide or move, which I like.The one thing I didn’t like about it was that the bath mat is made with like all these little balls - popcorn I suppose since it’s a “popcorn bathmat”. On mine there are sections where they aren’t close enough together or seem to be missing some, so there’s lines that are just empty in it. It’s noticeable looking at it from afar if you really look (see photos - I took one from far away showing the whole mat, then I took a close up photo, then I took that same photo and circled a few of the areas I mean, and then I took another close up in a different spot). But, it’s not so bad where I don’t want it in my bathroom. But, it’s definitely annoying for a bath mat that costs $17.49 at the time of writing this review. It isn’t expensive really, but I have seen similar mats at Dollar General, so it’s a lot more than it would cost there.I haven’t had to clean it yet. But, it seems like it will hold up pretty well for washing. It isn’t the best quality so I don’t see it holding up for too long, but long enough that I will get my use out of it.Overall, it’s a nice bath mat. It’s soft, doesn’t slide around, and is absorbent. I don’t think it’s nice enough to cost $17.49, but that’s just me. Taking price out of the equation, I think it’s a nice bath mat and give it 4 stars. If you don’t mind the small missing areas, I think you’d be happy with this!One of the softest I have ever used… This bathmat will not let you down for comfort. Great for standard size tub, shower or in front of double cupboard bathroom sink. With a higher pile and thick loop this can absorb water nicely.. even after x2 person in line showers!One issue we’ve had is the mat sheds- it lets tiny fibers stick to wet feet… even after washing! I’m hoping this Will dissipate with washing and wear + tear..? However, until then I’ve placed this in front of bathroom sink- and it feels amazing when standing on getting ready!As for washing: I used cold and delicate cycle.. But, be warned- put nothing else in the load with this rug, otherwise fibers will transfer to other items and cause a huge headache! Drying in machine is optional- if you choose to do so- empty lint catch after this cycle! Trust me on this one, it will be full and you’ll want to avoid any possible hazard! After washing for 2nd time I love how it cleans and fluffs right up looking brand new..Definitely a soft and absorbent mat- pleasing to both the eye.. and feet! I can recommend for certain, just note- it likes to shed and this my reason for deducting x1 star. Overall, happy with order and want others to take note of all the pro’s/cons- hoping this info can help your decision.. stay safe!Luxurious Feel Bathroom Mat/Rug | Chenille & Cotton Bath MatThe large loops on this bath mat give it a very soft, squishy feel. I ordered yellow, and the color is a nice, sunny color, much more yellow than it looks in some of the photos where it looks almost gold/brown. The back isn’t a traditional rubber back, but it has enough of a non-slip surface that when the mat is rolled, it sort of sticks to itself. I use it in a powder room without a shower/tub so having an absolute non-slip surface isn’t that important to me, I just don’t want it to slide when stepped on, and it doesn’t do that.There is some shedding and I suspect when it’s laundered there will be significantly more, so I’ll be sure to wash it alone. Overall, I’m happy with the rug.Note: Since I’ve opened the rug and put it on the floor, my dog has more or less claimed it. So, if you happen to be looking for a rug to make your Golden Retriever happy, you may want to consider this one!
